CEDAW’S PEOPLE’S TRIBUNAL, 2020

Esua was really pleased to been interviewed by Dr Davina Lloyd, Chair of the Steering Committee of the newly-formed CEDAW (UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women) People's Tribunal. John Cooper QC is leading the Advocacy team supporting pension justice for women in their 60s. We may have lost the first round of the legal battle this week but the fight goes on. In these tumultuous times international instruments like CEDAW and the Beijing Platform for Action are more relevant than ever.
